This years' CNY was a blast.
Happy days with family and relatives.^^
This New Year feels so short due to short holidays (not me obviously)
but it is a great feeling getting together to eat, laugh, gamble and talk.
Lets begin with CNY eve.
Went to Pyramid with family to get something at HN
Ate Carl's Jr burger
~Yummy yummy~
Huge burger with delicious fries~ ^^
Then went to grandmother's house at 4pm
Surprise surprise~!
No electricity supply at there since 1pm -.-"
So I was busy fanning myself
while two uncles sleeping on sofa
brother sleeping in room
Dad says its to hot to sleep so he water the flowers
Without electricity how to cook reunion dinner? -.-"
Rice was cook on the stove by my auntie
Most of the dishes were ta pau from Chong Hwa
Luckily the most important soup was already cooked earlier (Yum~)
The adults - My grandmother, my auntie and my mum - was playing mahjong to pass time (as usual)
until 5.30pm - time to cook/pick up food from restaurant
I was busy helping my mum and auntie in the kitchen
when my other uncle and his family arrived
I'm busy walking in and out of kitchen
As kitchen was hot and stuffy
Electricity was back by 5.30pm~ Luckily~
Else we would have eat in the dark with candles
Candlelit reunion dinner, anyone? ^^
Dinner as usual, begin with lou sang
Then we start to enjoy ourselves
eating
and more eating
While I drink more soup
(Po Keng, you didn't get to drink soup this year~ wakakaka)
After dinner, everyone went outside to stand and chat while drinking red wine
Then each of us went back home
I was happily online at 11 something while my dad's handphone rang *song plays*
Then dad said that one of his friend called requesting help as his house electric supply was suddenly cut off
-.-"
Then whole family also follow him to his old friend's house
with intention of being the first one to bai nian at sharp 12am
and to eat supper as well
We count down in the car at the Summit junction
First time spending my CNY like this ^^
While we were a few houses away from our destination, his friend called again saying that TNB came and was fixing the problem now.
Since we were near, we decided to drop by
Why not since dad says he haven't seen this friend for a few years already
So our first house that we visited at 12 something is his friends house
We go in sit sit, chat chat while the owner was very friendly offering various cookies for us
but since it was after 12, my family is on vegetarian diet for the day
so no cookies for us (sad sad)
We leave at 12.45++ and came back to KK
had supper of roti canai
before going home.
What an eventful CNY eve.
=)
First, second and third day of CNY was almost the same
Went to grandmother's house
gamble gamble
One table mahjong
One table blackjack
House filled with people and sounds of laughter
as we keep on burst out laughing
until our tears start to roll down, stomach and cheeks hurts

Until now, thinking back also feel like laughing

Now now, CNY is coming to an end, valentines is tomorrow and my brand new semester is going to start soon.
Time passes fast
Three months is gone just like that
New semester, new beginning
We shall aim to achieve better results
and have more fun together
Right girls? ^^
The best thing that I enjoyed is the company of the people whom I loved and cherished
No matter what we are doing
the time we spend together is still the best
