Once upon a fairy tale

"... and they live happily ever after." Daddy says, ending the story of Sleeping Beauty.
"Another one please, daddy. Read me another one, pretty please?" Camelia begged her dad.
"No, honey. That's already the third story tonight. Go to sleep now my girl." Daddy says firmly.
"Awwwww...." Camelia starts to frown and give her best puppy eyes.
"Can't we have just another one, Mummy?"
"I'm sorry sweetie. I know how much you love story time but it's getting late." Mummy replied.
"C'mon, be a good girl now. We'll read Pinocchio tomorrow night, okay?" Daddy comforts his 8 year old girl while tucking her into her comfy bed.

Camelia smiles and crawled under her soft, fluffy blanket.

"Goodnight and sweet dreams Camelia"

----------------------------

Camelia loves fairy tales and nursery rhymes to the extend that she can remember every detail of each story. She never gets bored of listening to the same stories and often dreams to be in one of the story. Her room is decorated with many nursery rhymes posters and also some of her drawings on fairy tales.

"Ring-a-ring of roses, a pocket fill of roses. A-thishoo, Athishoo! We all fall down."
"Huh? What?: Camelia mumbles sleepily as she heard a familiar nursery rhyme.
"Ring-a-ring of roses, a pocket fill of roses. A-thishoo, Athishoo! We all fall down."
Camelia was wide awake now. She looks around and saw a group of pixies, holding each other hand under the tree.
Shock as she is, Camelia rubs her eyes in disbelief as the pixies giggling out loud.

"Am I in fairy world?" Camelia wondered.
She bravely walk to the pixies and thought that her love for nursery rhymes and fairy tales are too much that she's beginning to dream of them too.

Then she saw something really huge that caught her eye.
"Why. that's the big shoe with an old woman in it!" Camelia says as she walked nearer to inspect.
She saw an old woman and children running around. The old woman was distributing broth to the children. Camelia walked around the giant shoes, amazed with what she saw. Without notice, she bumped on to the old woman. Old as she was, she is very grumpy too!

"Why you little rascal! No broth for you today! Go to the bed NOW!" the woman shouts at Camelia and waves the ladle at her.
The old woman must have thought that Camelia was one of her children and then she was dragged into the shoe-house and tucked into bed.
"But...but..." Camelia protested.
"No buts young lady! Go to sleep!"
Camelia was afraid of her so she have to choice but to stay in bed until the coast was clear. After a while, the old lady was outside distributing broth to other children again. Camelia took her chance to runaway from the horrible place.

Down she went, deeper into the forest....

Interesting? Should I continue?

Stressful moments

*blink blink*
8 months of working life just flew by! Who would have thought I can survive in this line for quite some time. I truly enjoyed being in my company, with a really great team. Sadly, I could not say so for my manager. He seems to step on each and every tail he can and yeah, not many people love to hear him boast.

It's getting worst here that we (the whole team) thinks of leaving him for good. But, back to reality, we still have our own commitments to fulfill hence we are still here. WE WILL MAKE A CHANGE tomorrow!

Though stressful, I did enjoy my May. Went to the annual Estee sales again this year! I was practically helping my colleagues to buy their stuff, busy taking pictures and sending to the group chat early in the morning and taking orders. Then I still get to enjoy the view of long long long Q (earliest was 10pm the night before) and also the hall full with people. Again, I would attend it next year!

Praying that tomorrow we would achieve what we want and the management could take us seriously.

Leaving is another beginning

Resignation is not the end but the start of another journey. Thanks A for the time here with us. Though we only know each other for a short period of time, we had fun and laughters :) May you be blessed in your future undertaking!

We had a lunch gathering, to mark the end of A's journey with us and also the end of the first quarter. We longed to try out Fa Ying @ Paradigm Mall since the last gathering so we decided to give it a try this time. Fa Ying serves Thai Food and we order a set meal so we need not think of what to order.

The platter serves a mixture of spring rolls, wantans, fish cake and mango salad with green mussels. Scrumptious spread of starter to get us craving for more. The green curry is also very fragrant and creamy. The tom yam however is not up to par. Sour but not spicy enough. Other food was nice but forgettable.
The beloved central team!
Celebrated grandma birthday a week ago at Puchong :)

Me and my shorter hair. No more curls!

Walking down to the past I was afraid to face

I was having a sleepless night last night, rolling on the bed until 5.30am+ before I doze off. Then, woke at 7am+ to go back to office for spring cleaning.
In the process of trying to fall asleep, my brain was busy recalling my life in the past 8 years. Random but I was listening to this:

While walking down the memory lane, I realise I am very lucky to experience the best of what every situation can offer :) The only past that I don't like to look back must be the one incident 4 years back. Though I made it through and put this matter away for good, I was still surprised that the incident did not bring any negative emotions back.!
I am enjoying my life as of now, and never regret to what had happened as it made me who I am now :)
Cheers! Many more sweet memories to create!

I was practically a zombie walking around office, moving things and listening to naggy manager talk. Then, we had lunch with our SFE manager and other colleagues. Then I went to deliver stock to KLCC and SHOP! :D Best way to end a Friday!

Keep fighting and hope to close the quarter by end of next week! So far, March has been a very great month. Thank you for everything

Feels good to have her with me at work where I know I can trust her 100%. Love you muchie muchie darling!

I am on MC today yet I was still doing some paper works, answering calls and making orders. Had a nice (and free!) breakfast this morning before we head out to bank.
Scones, chocolate cake and cappuccino!

The not-very-sick look. MC just for the fun of sleeping in and need not to report back to office to listen to some uncle nag nag nag. hehe
I was only down with slight fever and throat infection with random dizziness but I was good today :P
