Today, it feels like I was back being a uni student again. Sit around at the lounge area while waiting for juniors to come pick up their stuffs while chatting along with the lovely companions as though it is like any other day we were having breaks during the day. Successfully sell off most of my stuff and darl's stuff too! (Now I feel tang yuk yuk with all the profit with me but not mine though). Coincidentally, a few others were around uni as well so we meet up for lunch at Kim Gary, Pyramid. 

The guys and the girls. Three of us (girls) actually applied job from the same company! What a coincidence. We shall get a good job real soon.

Saw this giant at the plants again. Hmmm, will be it gone by tomorrow morning? Its' got beautiful blue spots on the body. 

I've planned to try bake Hokkaido cupcakes tomorrow if I'm at home for the afternoon. Time to repay the kindness of my lady boss and the wonderful colleagues at E.nopi! Shall see how it goes tomorrow.

Went back to uni today to pass those stuff to juniors. They need to learn to be punctual, or at least inform me that they will be late. Tsk tsk tsk. Going to make another round to uni again to settle it. Not-short-not-long meet up with TX today at uni, chatting away while waiting for those MIA buyers. I miss my uni life already! :( 

It rained today and I think I caught another round of flu -.- 

On happy note : get to try this Reese white peanut butter cups today courtesy of a very kind friend. Yummy yummy

I was packing my notes as tomorrow I'm gonna bring it to uni to pass to juniors. Then mum was helping me to get plastic bags to pack them properly.

Mum: You sure got people want your things?

Me: Why not? See this small stack can sell for alot of money ah.

Mum: Why would they want it? Why so expensive? What if they suddenly don't want it anymore?

Me: -.- They won't. If they do then I sell them to other people lor. 

Mum: Sure ah? Later nobody wants it.

Me: MUM! Stop spoiling my business. Shoo. After get money then we can go eat ramen.

This is my cute and funny mum.

Some days, we would have light or early dinner. Then at 8pm mum would start the usual conversation.

Mum: You hungry? Want to eat anything else?

Me: No. If I'm hungry I'll go eat bread or drink milo.

Mum: You sure?

Me: You want to eat ah?

Mum: Hmm, I need not eat but I can eat also. 

Me: What you want to eat?

Mum: I don't want la. Hmmm. Maybe we can share McD. 

Me: Oh. Go buy lor. 

Mum: Come faster, gonna be 9pm soon. 

This is how she lure me to eat McD at night. The princess girlgirl will follow whenever we go for drive-thru and she will be very excited! This princess very manja. If I don't give her milo whenever I'm having some, she'll start to bite my hand and try to jump up to get some. Tsk tsk tsk. Spoiled dog. 

忘記

Korean food craving satisfied today! Went to try this new Korean BBQ place with mum today. The bibimbap was so-so but the rice cake and the side dishes are yum. 

Planning for Monday to see how it goes. Wished to have lunch with few friends but that depends on my parents if they have other plan so gotta wait patiently to see how it goes. I wanna claim my peanut butter cup! :)

Nightmare - should be forgotten so that I could move on but some how the fear is always there when the mind drift back to the time. How long will it take to forget?

Tried Sawasdee Thai restaurant at KK. Quite pricey for the ala carte menu but the fried rice and glass noodles are nice.

Tomorrow shall be another relaxing day at home again. Next week will be time for shopping! I wanna eat ramen! 

Broke!

It's end of the month aka purse empty time. So I'm broke. Left with less than RM20 for the following days. Sighh. Can't wait for payday dee. Should have keep more cash on hand to spend. 

Tomorrow is public holiday! Okay, as Ting said, there's no difference to me yet. I still slack at home like usual, just that I don't have to work tomorrow night. Wee wang wang wang~

Feeling super lazy today. Woke up yet still feel tired. Then mum dragged me to RSH warehouse sales as she wanna go see see. Then it's time for work. WH says he'll belanja me burger factory! :D 

Kind lil kiddo. hahaa

Just another interview

Few days back, mum and I visited a pharmacy and we were browsing through the vitamins section. Mum keep asking me whether this vitamin can do this or not. Then, a pharmacist walk over to ask us if we need help. She begin explaining things to mum and take her time to make sure my mum understands how those supplements work. She can also explain the use of various supplements. I feel amazed and look up to her as she can perform her job well and she's also kind and polite. 

Feeling nervous for the interview tomorrow. What if they ask me things that I can't answer? Thank you to darl for giving me some idea on how to answer certain questions. *blessed*

Looking through the application form, there's a question asking me: Why choose me over other applicants?

Most times, I don't see the myself clearly. Hence, I don't even know how to answer this. Why choose me? I don't know, cause I need the job? Why me? What do I have that others don't? I am not outstanding, special nor genius. Just a little bit weird, naggy and blur. 

Why me?

Why do I deserve this more than the rest?

Am I good at anything?

Addiction

Realised that I got serious addictions to people. For example, I can't go on for a week without chatting with some people (sendiri know la ha) hahaha. Then new addiction - Isaac! Long time no see but still as handsome. 

Family day today without dad. Spend the day watching drama with mum and bro. Feels so lazyyyyyyy and the day passes so slow. Tomorrow I shall find something better to do instead of lazying in front of my laptop..! And also to prepare for interview. 

Anxious

Woke up today to a msg from boss asking me to work for another few weeks since she haven't found anyone that could teach high level students. Yes, I said yes to her cause I haven't found a job yet. At least that keeps me from being broke. 

Another interview on coming Wednesday. Please let this be IT!

Sound of Silence

Permed hair is difficult to maintain for me. Hates washing my hair now.

Woke up early to fetch cousin to work. Then, head out with parents around town to get some things done. Back home for a teatime before heading out to work again. Though tired, my day feels much more better than usual. Had the yummy fishball noodle in USJ for lunch and some fried stuff for teatime (fried nian gao!).

Dedication

I remember when I first started my job as tutor, I would envy ZT. Boss, A, would trust him completely, allowing him to decide and change the course of student's work accordingly. Whereas for me, I would be consulting them first before I make any changes. 

After almost 3 years of working there, now I'm in his position. Changing student's amount of work, how fast/slow they progress or deciding if they should be doing this work or not. A would be telling me that I need not be reporting to her anymore, just go on with whatever I've decided best for the student. 

Can't believe I've dedicated myself for three years as a tutor. 5 more working days and I'm gonna say goodbye to my dear boss, students and colleagues. Gonna miss everyone here. 

Last round

Last round to con juniors to buy notes, reports and assignments. Muahaha. Tonight whole night was busy entertaining interested buyers and settle down everything. Also a chance to clear out all my notes and stuff from my cupboard. YAY more space for other things now. 

Love my room alot more lately after having the air freshener from Lovely Lace - Rose. Smells so sweet and floral-ly every time I step into my room. Happy feel in my room. Hehe.

Still no response from my job search. Sighhh. Yuan lai so difficult. Can I just stay at home..? *Puppy eyes* Mum start nagging at me to faster look for a job.

Being single is nice too. There's no need to feel pressure by friends to start a relationship just because you don't want to feel left out or be the odd one. I don't understand why some people feels that being single is a bad thing or shamed on. Embrace freedom and learn about yourself more. Enjoy it while you have the chance. Although there will be time where you'll feel lonely, you still have family, pet, friends, games, music and so to entertain you. There's no rush. It will come when it comes so just enjoy the moment. 

Being unavailable will be different :)

OFFICIALLY GRADUATING!

Results were out this morning. Woke up to numerous msgs reminding me check my results. As every semester, I registered for SMS results but forever will not get it. Happy to say that I successfully graduated! 

Thank God for getting good results for Food Micro and SCI. I was so worried for food micro cause I could not finish the paper in time ><. SCI was because of super low internal marks.

Now waiting for convo in November :)

Post birthday celebration

Almost two weeks after my birthday only I get to meet up with Wei Ting and Peggy. Planned to go Bangsar for Dip n Dip and Antipodean.

Big breakfast and All day breakfast

My favourite mushrooms! Bacon and pork sausage, baked beans, scrambled eggs, toast, hash brown. Yum! The definition of 幸福的早餐! How we wish to wake up to this kind of breakfast everyday.

After breakfast, we went to walk around in Bangsar Village and the boutiques around the area. 

Then....!

We noticed that Dip n Dip was closed for renovation!

So we walked around and came across this shop name "Too cool for school" that sells cosmetics. See the cute packaging!

Then we randomly drive over to MV for dessert and more shopping. Went to Alexis for their dessert, chocolate bittersweet.

Okay, kind of difficult to make my curls stay in shape. Blame my hair for being thin and straight.

Here's to Never Growing Up

I don't wanna look for a job but I need money to spend. Sigh..Job, please fall from sky. Or at least anywhere nearby, please have vacancy for this Food Science and Technology graduate.

1. Mum: Dad went out to look for a job for you.

    Me: ...

    Mum: He went to Ah Fai (You Yee Rest owner/dad friend).

    Me: He is using me as an excuse. He go there to drink. -.- 

    Mum: HAHAHAHA 

2. During exam, I MIA a few weeks from work. So when I was back: 

    Qie: Teacher ah! Why you so long no come work. I so long no see you. 100 years already lor.

    Me: What 100 years la. You so old dee meh?

    Qie: Yea lar. I 100 years old, you 110 years old. 

    Me: Silly la you. Do your work, don't talk so much. 

    Qie: You know, there's a green tea teacher now. 

    Me: Green tea? Teacher T.T.? 

    Qie: Yea la that TT mah so I named her green tea. She very bad one, keep calling me aunty. 

    Me: You mmg bad la, simply name your teacher. Pity her.

    Qie: Aiya, I need you to teach me ma. I can only understand what you teach.

3. Another student-teacher conversation.

    YS: Teacher, I'm going back, mum's here. Bye.

    Me: Bye. *continue teaching another student*

    YS: Why aren't you celebrating that I'm finally going back? Aren't you happy?

    Me: Well, today you didn't annoy me. Unless it's him telling me he's going back *referring to another     

    student*cause he's pissing me off for the past hour. Gahh. 

    YS: Yea.. BYEEE

Melaka Trip Day 2 (27.6) - Cowboy Town

Cowboy Town seems to be a deserted town at first glance but they do have a bunch of people performing at the entrance to make you feel welcome. That is before they forcefully put a cowboy hat onto your head and force you to take a picture with your group of friends. 

A nice place to take lots of pictures while waiting for the Cowboy Show to begin.

The Cowboy Show begins with the Red Indians playing fire around. Then they choose two visitors to join. Lucky Unluckily, Rach got chosen. Seems that the management lack entertainment to cheer the visitors hence they insist even though Rach rejected. They made her do silly moves, play with fire and even tried to scare her by bringing the fire dangerously close to her. >< Bad entertainment I must say. Poor Rach. 

Then, it was followed by a parade of all the animals (horses, elephants, sheeps, goats, chickens, pony) and repetitive faces of the entertainers (limited people hence some gotta play a few roles?) 

Lastly, the show ended with fireworks. 

Gotta say that the management must review the acts they make "volunteers" do and also keep the place more lively and well maintained. 

Of course, our night does not stop here, although the show ended around 10pm+.

Went for lala and cockles at the back alley.

Only darl, PK, Chris and me didn't eat. The place was also infested with mosquitoes! (GELI!) ahhaha. Then of course, another round of satay celup at another Ban Lee Siang. 

The last day was packed with food visits.

No-day

Everyday seems to be the same for me now. Drama, movie, grocery shopping.

Next week, results will be publish. How will that change my direction of life? What will I be working as? That should be uncover real soon.

But I do know that this coming Thursday, a change is about to occur. :) Looking forward to that.

Went to Empire to try out Rakuzen.

Pricey place, salmon sashimi is nice, tempura is nice. As for sushi, I would prefer Zanmai. Both of this were similar as they are under the same company. 

Then for dinner, nan de daddy bring us out to eat (been a long time as dad is always busy or we eat at home). So went to Subang to eat Hokkien mee. 

I miss Kuchai Lama de lao shu fen and claypot fish head noodles.

Melaka Trip Day 2 (27.6) - A Famosa Water World

Wake up early for dim sum and planned to Limau Limau for breakfast.

Dim sum was okay. Not as much variety as we get usually but more of a traditional coffee shop kind. 

Then we walk over to Limau Limau.

Beautiful place but sadly there's a notice saying that everyone have to order a drink each, hence we just took a few pictures and walk off. HAHAHA. We were kinda full from dim sum (small eaters).

Walked around the town a while before continuing our journey to A Famosa!

After almost an hour journey, we've reached A Famosa - the kinda deserted place.

Then off we go to change and play.

We went too early hence most of the facilities were still cleaning.

So we sit around, walk around. 

Then we started off at the kids pool

Then we head to this float slide thing.

WAHH super scary when you sit at the side where the float feels like falling out of the slide. It was so chi gek that we went for two rounds. 

But it was too tiring to climb all the way up to the slide

We were barefooted and the path was rocky and hot and it hurts to walk around. Then the others went to play those single slides while Ray, Von and me went to the wave pool!

Swim Walk to the middle part of the pool and enjoyed the strong waves. 

The waves were not constant as it will pause for like 20mins+ (I lost track of time). So took the chance to learn to float. I am scared of water hence never get to learn to swim (I will drown! I don't float.)

The rest of them join us later when it was more crowded.

Then the others got bored and went for other rides

While Ray, Von, Chris and me stayed at the wave pool to sunbathe -.- (Hence my skintone is darker now).

Then we head to the kids pool again to play!

Von and me tried playing the kiddy slides before we got shoo-ed off by the kids.

There were 3 kids, 1 mini Chris, and 2 skinny kids. The mini Chris seems to enjoyed sliding down and kick Chris. Then we saw this mini Chris slide down and hit the two skinny kids like bowling pins! hahahhaa

It was a funny scene to watch and the mini Chris very arrogant want, don't wanna say hi to us or answer Ray's questions. 

Else, we also wait for the big bucket to fill up and splash water down. Takes a long time to wait for it to fill and then to anticipate the moment when the big bucket of water splashes down. For two consecutive times, the bucket of water choose to splash down as Chris opens his mouth to talk!

Then Viv and Robin joined us too at the kids pool. 

We got tired and tidy up at 2pm and go grab lunch at KFC. 

Then went for a walk at Tesco to grab snacks and for the guys to surprise me for the short celebration. ^^

As cowboy town only starts at 6pm, we wander to McD to get ice cream and to take lots lots lots of pictures.
