I just wanna hide under my blanket and sleep for the whole day.. If I can... But the constant nagging of the workload is not letting me have my sweet dreams. not that I can sleep at all. 

Had been having insomnia for a few weeks.

Tried very hard to make the three samples (two commercial one lab-made) look the same as the differences was actually quite obvious texture wise. Anyhow, as Vincent said, its a bias sensory test cause we can differentiate it the moment we taste it. wahahah. Ours was of course the best! 

Looking forward to more yummy lab sessions :)

Another night

Been sleeping too much today

so staying up a little late tonight to make up for the lost time

In Food Preservation class today,

we came across an example of food drying: carrots dip into hot starch to prevent loss of carotenoids.

Then, most of us OOOOHHH at that

and randomly, Dr Leong asked us if we are interested in making this into a lab session!

Of course we are! Provided that we do not have to do lab report on it..!

hehe

so Dr Leong gave us this opportunity to carry out this experiment in few weeks time

providing the materials and place needed!

I do hope she decides to bring freeze dried fruits to class as well..!

I remembered very well that she is very keen to bring goodies to classes last semester for Human Nutrition class. We had chips (Pringles) fried in some way or whatever that was different from the normal Pringles

and also Stevia.

Prof Gary's class is still boring (Taxanomy is so not fun -.- sighhh)

but he is still very funny!

Must be extra careful around the campus in case he saw anyone of us playing games or just sitting around chit chatting. Blehhh

hahaha

He is one childish professor that loves to run.

Been having lunch on every Mondays before I head home

First week, we went to eat chilli pan mee!

How could we missed the chance to grab blackball as dessert as well

since we have been discussing about it before the sem starts.

WX promised to bring me for Uncle Jang

yet she is always occupied

The second week, WX was not around so no Uncle Jang

went to SS15 trying to find parking to have lunch but we were too hungry to turn another round

so we ended up at Nihonkai 

Then I kidnap her back to my house cause I missed Dotz Cafe

Being very random is somehow very common for me now

I feel so.. empty as the time passes too fast

Our first report will be due after mid sem break

but before the happy one week break, we have our quiz

and a minor assignment to hand in.

Seems that I'm inseparable from my darling and Ray

Super yummy mushroom soup, creamy chicken and mushroom spaghetti, ice lemon tea and a scoop of ice cream for less than RM14!

:) 

Worth the price

and will return!

The last 2 weeks, we always forget to drop by Gong Cha to grab our fav drink

so this week we did it!

Grapefruit tea with white pearls!

Dreams

Dream is a way to escape reality

It is also one of the favourite topic of discussion between T and me

My dreams are usually very exciting and fun

I'd always dream about being somewhere else

with family or friends

It may be...

-being on a ship having fun with friends and family and being close to an island (Redang inspired maybe?)

-wandering into a shop that seems to be have a display of marine animals

- being back in school compound celebrating Midautumn Festival

Most of my dreams (that I remembered) brings me to somewhere new and unknown

It feels like traveling to a new place experiencing a short vacation

I rarely have nightmares from what I remembered

The bad dreams (which is not really considered as nightmares) usually revolve around me being bullied/ignored etc (conclusion:I don't like being not sayang...) 

hahhaha

blame that on lack of self confidence or 没有安全感

and I usually find myself crying after dreams like this

But luckily I rarely get this kind of dreams

Ting on the other hand have very different dreams

Very dark

No fun dreams

and she will tell me what happen 

and most of the time it revolves around flying/falling

Needle felting

Something that caught my attention when Bubz showed how she did a poodle, Schnauzer and a cat from this!

So I got myself a set of things needed and start playing with it and ta-da! A furry bear. I need more pratice to make it nicer I guess. Now it's made into a keychain :)

A small act of kindness is enough to show how much one cares

I haven't decide when will I stop the current part time job that I've had for 2 years plus.

Boss reminds me to inform her beforehand so that she can have enough time to hire people

but as she said, it is difficult to find one that can take up the responsibility and capability to teach high level kids. So far, I don't really trust my students being with another tutor. The new tutors are quite good actually but they need more time to pick up the syllabus and handle the kids.

Other than ZT, I don't see other people handling the kids/ teens better. They tend to be too soft to them. haaa..! 

and when some of my students found out that I no longer work on Tuesdays, they rather change their schedule to adapt to me as they are used to me teaching them. They never fail to complain to me how they don't like other teacher teaching them (Excusesss!) as they don't take in new teacher easily. 

Sigghh..

If better tutors come, I might be able to let go earlier?

Heh. I will miss my dear angels and demons very much!

Complications everywhere

Setiawalk date with darlings

Since darlings (I got darling no2! but just sit there only -.-) are back

for a while before they head off again

so I manage to kidnap them!

Brought them to Setiawalk to have lunch @ Sushi Tei

This grilled saba with hamachi (yellow tail) sashimi set comes with rice, potato salad, soup and pickles

and it only cost RM17++!

and the piece of fish is big *Did not even finish my rice as I was bloated*
