Video making RANDOM

and so during the last week of the semester

we had 3 presentations on the same week (torturous)

One being functional food with our funny Prof Gary

DAY 1 - We were ready to die and just present what we have. Well we actually do not really know what Prof Gary wants but then whatever lar. We still have processing presentation to deal with the same day. END UP we did not manage to present func food but we were surprised by the effort put in by the seniors! They were so creative! and ours was dull in comparison. So we decide to add more stuff and design our yogurt cup nicely. Took von and me whole night to settle the design stuff. Its not easy playing around with photoshop and illustrator. We already spent so much time doing the first draft and now more edits to do. 

DAY 2 - We did not manage to present AGAIN! and then more interesting presentations were done. But we could not think of anything to improve ours. Then after class I was sitting down with Von thinking about this while still trying to settle the design stuff @@ Our sweat and blood (and sleeps zzz) all our effort in it yet we were not satisfied. Then BLING BLING! Why not we make a video? Why not make our products come to live? (well since seniors have theirs as well...)

and so we did last minute thing while worrying if it will work (too random -.-)

Printing out the design, thinking where to stick them onto to present them, where to shoot the video, what do we want to shoot about. 

Argh so many unconfirmed stuff (me hate)

Then quickly drive back to von's place to grab empty yogurt cups (we were on yogurt addiction back then). Then went to my uncle's place to shoot the video. Drag dear Ray and my brother along as well. Then parents also came to kepoh (my mum so excited giving ideas!) hehe

So we cut, paste, shoot random videos (must really thank Ray for sacrificing himself (HAHAHHAHAA) just to entertain the random idea by both of us. *BIG LOVE*

Then went to lunch with my parents before abducting Von to overnight at my place to edit the videos. Another sleepless night. Partially for the video edit, and then Dotz cafe visit, and movie and pillow talks (MORE LOVEE)

DAY 3 - Last day of semester. Early celebration for darl's birthday. and also the funny presentation. 

Today brother was also shooting a video at home for his assignment and it brought back the memories (a month ago? but feels like too long ago le)

and too bad I was not home to laugh!

Mum complained that he and dad was taking hours to do it and giving so much comments on it.

SO FUNNY~

Internship

Started my internship last week

at a factory in KK

Specialized in mayonnaise, sauces (chili, tomato, bbq, hot and spicy, thai chili, charboiled), breadcrumbs, and dry mix (batter mix for cakes, chickens, nuggets)

I am currently doing QC (quality control) work

by testing the final products and make sure they meet the requirements

but I only test for wet products (sauces and mayonnaise)

Did some paperwork too

while going through the documents to understand about the company.

Haven't got the chance to visit production line yet as the whole department is busy preparing for audits

First three days of coming week, auditors from FSSC is coming to inspect the company

If pass, the company can get another cert.

Which adds in to the collection (and is alot too according to an outsider. As in alot of certs that this company manage to get)

Surprisingly, Nepalians are hired to do most of the QC job

doing titration, viscosity check and so.

Hmm~

So far I feel not bad lo my intern

can experience different work scopes and learn different thing

Now working is part of my life.

And to challenge myself (or torture whichever way you wanna see it)

I continue my part time job.

At first it was very tiring

Rushing from one job to another

but I think I can handle it

I just need some time to adjust 

:)

plus! We got a new worker hereee~

Consider as my junior as he is doing Engineering in Monash. 

a very very funny guy. Well I think he is. hahahahahahahhaha

Or maybe only I feel that he is funny.

But so far he is doing fine. Just that he needs to be a little more help in guiding more students instead of focusing on one or two.

Me: Err yea. The students cannot use fingers to plus and minus...

Me: Shoo ask the other teacher. I'm busy. 

Student: Nooooo!

New Teacher: *looks at her work*

After 5 minutes...

I turn around and see he is still teaching the same page same question.

Okaaay..

*attend to another student*

After 10 minutes....

Me: *walks over to see what is taking him so long*

*Ohhhh -.-*

Student: Miss! Isn't the answer supposed to be in decimals?

Me: Yea...*sees what the teacher did* Ohh. Not wrong but you can convert to decimals. or just straightaway do it using the decimals as in the question

New Teacher: Ha? Can do this without calculator want meh?

Me:errr.... yea.. *Inside LOL-ing*

ahhahahahahaa

I'm so bad

yea this made my day

and guess straightaway that he's a young fella.

hahahahahaha okay we are equally as bad.

awwwwwwww he is badly missed at work and he misses us too.

Simple happiness

Sometimes, people are too busy living their life

undergoing daily routine

and they forget to cherish little things in life

small blessings that could cheer them up 

and keep them going

Tonight was a busy night at work

I realised that I miss this

I miss the peak hour

having 10 students calling out for help

with more than half that requires more time to tutor

I miss moving from one student to another 

in the small space

trying to answer all of them.

Tired

but the adrenaline rush is fun

Though I do hate having most students calling me just to check their answer for all the questions

heh

I love the night 

:)

And nothing cheers me up more than a wave goodbye from those cute little kids

even though I may not be their teacher

but they are so cute and polite to wave goodbye with a sweet smile plastered on their face

*melts*

and of course some sweet mouth students

cheering me more

Now I remember why I've hold on so long

Because of this 

simple happiness

and

sense of achievement

Everything will be worth it by the end of the day

Finally date Peggy at a place and NOT Pyramid

Due to transportation constraint, we used to date mostly at Pyramid

and now Peggy dare to drive to Ikea so OFF WE GO!
And coincidentally she came back right after my exam

so sure must date her out before she go back to her busy life again

Ikea is connected to Tesco, The Curve and IPC

so it's like walking at alot of shopping malls at one time

Thus we got lost easily!

Ah well, at least we make it back alive

hehehe

Leg tired

Mouth also tired from all the talking

Feels just like we were not separated for long time hahaha

and it's too bad that Ms Ting cannot join us cause she is busy WORKING!

Today's paper was the worst of all papers

Don't know almost half of the questions

and those questions weigh alot too!

I see some people defer the paper halfway through the exam as well

It's all over and I should be happy about!

Went to enjoy yum yum food with the dear food gang and the wai sek mao Ray

(who purposely wake up early..!)

Got my 爱心早餐 of course willing to wake up right?

Initially planned to go Hungry Hogs for burger but change our plan and we ended up at Paradigm Mall

Tried out Spaghetti Grill and of course dessert time! (TONG PAK FU!)

(it's in total mess since I began to rot at home to study)

7. Finished watching all the dramas that I have started but yet to complete

(Some of them must thank dearest darl cause she summarised the whole drama before I finished it thus...)

8. Continue colouring my nails every week! 

(Student ask me why I no more paint pretty nails to work.. Well, blame food labs for this)

未来 - Future

Next year, I would be graduating

So of course there would be much thoughts on the future that I am supposed to be walking on

What will I be doing after graduation?

Well I do have a short term plan and hopefully it turns out to be a great journey for me

But first of all is to undergo internship *at far far away land*

:)

Anxious as well as exciting to see this journey unfold after my exams

Then of course I have travelling plans and it all depends on my financial ability as well

Taiwan and Japan would be my target

I wanna make it come true one day

:)

Halfway there

Two papers down

Two more to go next week

I realised that I'm getting lazier

that even during the exam, after scribbling down my main points

I am too lazy to write them out

that I stare blankly at the question

wishing that the answers would just pop out.

Or let us use computer to finish the exam.
So much easier to pop in extra points in between when I thought of it

rather than trying to squeeze my writings between the lines.

I also hate my body

for being so weak

(partly due to the weather too! TOO COLD)

Feeling fever-ish, headache, dizzy-ness

feeling very tired and grumpyy

(lack of sleep -.-)

and also my tummy

for the fats and the gastric and indigestion that it gives me

Hopefully all this small problems disappear ASAP

and I promise to take good care of this body

Now.. after finishing two papers, it feels like holiday!

Too lazy to study tonight

but I will be on a tight schedule for the coming days to revise everything.

Future date

Been watching alot of Vampire Diaries that I forgot the existence of Twilight. 

TVD is way better than T of course

but then I still will watch this in cinema

just to see how the whole story ends and seeing what I've read (quite long time ago) coming to live is still something to look forward to!

Last year, after watching Breaking Dawn part 1, I was telling my dearest date that one year of waiting for part 2 is TOOOO LONG!

and ZOOOM!
