My work

is getting better. =D

Getting used to tutoring them, but still learning how to explain maths to small kids.. I keep on wondering if they can understand what I said because they look too young to be doing advance level of maths. Kids start to love me too~

In a room there are 2 different groups of students.. One group is small kids about 4 - 5 years old, basic maths. Another is abit higher level and advance group. Sadly I am placed in the advance maths group (=P) but thank God that there is Khen Tong (however his name is spell as). He is looking after the more higher level students because my brain could not think that fast (Duh, I have to read questions, think how to answer and think how to explain. Too complicated process) He can answer them very fast because he is familiar with the levels already. He did not talk to me though (because we are too busy) and I usually call for him when I cant understand or do the question. Therefore, older students (F1 F2 F3) will ask him, not me.

I think I am being too lenient because I keep teaching them question by question. Thats why they like to ask me. I like Tuesdays because there are less students per time. Thursday - The most hectic day. I have to tend to 3-4 kids who are doing different level of maths at a time so my brain needs to think fast. Thanks to Nescafe's Mocha I am able to be alert. But I wonder what time will I sleep tonight T.T

TVD has to air the next episode ASAP! I can't wait for it! Its annoying to not be able to continue watching with all the suspense and questions unanswered. I love TVD~ The part where Damon confess his love to Elena is so heart aching >< So sad..

Moon

Yesterday's moon was nice. Bright and round. My mum and I were observing the clouds though. We saw the clouds resemble a phoenix and a dragon. Nice =)

Tutoring

2 days of working already. How do I feel? Tired, sleepy and hungry. LOL

Okay la. I choose to teach medium level students. Lower level already has 2 teachers. Higher level, let's say don't quite remember how to do most secondary school mates (LCM, HCF, Surface Area etc). Medium levels are easy maths. Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Some kids are very bright. At a young age (primary school) they already knew translation and transformation, unknowns and so. I learn those in secondary school. Some are not so bright, not even knowing their timetables, adding along as they go. Some very very cute kids. =)

My first student was Debbie, I think about 5 years old. Very smart, learning BODMAS but needed constant supervision. Then another funny kid is Sailes (I think). I taught him 2 days and he is very friendly, quiet smart. He knows how to do but always makes mistakes as he wanted to finish it fast. He will always called for me asking me things that are quite obvious and keeps complaining that there is alot of work to finish. Cute. Hahaha. This place basically has quite a number of teachers, 2 in a group usually, teaching a bunch of kids which you choose (okay la, which need your help). haha.. Not a bad place, except that at times when there is less students, I am sleepy and bored. I get to half curi tulang, since I only supervise them most of the time. I stare at them doing their work and hoping that they will have no questions at all. =P Their syllabus quite different. There is a set of critical thinking mathematics, which sometimes I don't understand. I should be trained before I am allowed to teach, but due to the shortage of teachers, I am forced to teach. Supervise is a better word to describe.

This job makes my eating time a little bit different. Yesterday got gastric because I eat my dinner after 9.30pm. By the time I come home, I am tired and sleepy. Hungry but don't feel like eating. =( Hopefully my stomach can adjust to the time better.

Work

Land myself in a job as a tutor. I need to work 3 days per week and only from the evening to night. Not bad. Will start working today. Kinda nervous how will it be later. But its nice to leave the house. Something better to do other than going online and watching Vampire Diaries for most of the time. =D

Summer Break!

Weee~ I am officially in my summer break now! With nothing to do except becoming a zombie. Oh, and work. I start of my break yesterday with the intention of baking macaroons since I saw a recipe that seems pretty easy. But the batch was a failure. 

Reason 1 : I reduced the sugar by 100g but forgot to cut down on the egg whites. I end up with a runny batter.

Reason 2 : The stupid machine does not blend my almonds into powdered almonds so my batter was nutty, not smooth.

Reason 3 (which I havent figure out how to overcome) : The stupid batter stick onto the baking paper as if super glue was used, so I cant peel them off from the paper! Sheesh.. From all the research I've done, it seems that the only solution is to but silicon mats to bake them, else, I shall not be making them anymore. Sigh. 

Oh, the ingredients eventually ended up in small paper cups since it was crunchy and yummy. They don't make good macaroons but it turns out to be another snack of chocolate almond thingy. 

Currently reading Cecelia Ahern's Where Rainbow Ends. Nice book pdf file. I wonder if I should read Shopaholic series first, or Vampire Diaries series first. Hmmm.. 

Tomorrow

Tomorrow will be my last paper. 11 am will be my freedom. How I wish that is the same for Peggy and WeiTing. Freedom is nothing without them with me.

Anyways, trying to arrange and interview soon. Going to work sooon. Hopefully.

Another paper done

There goes my Psychology paper. Next on is Chemistry on Wednesday. Good luck everyone ^^ I always feel like doing other things that are not related to studies during exam period. Like photoshop. And when I am free to do it, I won't.

Yesterday night was the worst of all nights as I slept at 4am. No thanks to Pak Hailam's special brew. Today was like a zombie when I reach Uni for my paper. 75% blur. During exam, I was doodling on the paper because I was thinking which option to choose. Therefore, my paper ended up to be messy inside with alot of ugly doodles.

I need to see Wei Ting and Peggy and Kuei Yee ASAP. Too long no see. =( Why do I move so far away again? Sigh.. If I am still in Puchong, we can meet up easily. Now I have to wait until mid December.. Aargh..

Its Saturday!

OMG.. Time passes to fast.. Monday will be Psychology paper and then Wednesday will be Chemistry. Too much to revise.

Today went to Pyramid to eat sushi again with parents. Have no intention of going there actually. Dad wanted to bring us to KL to buy some things but he change his mind and off we go to eat sushi. haha.. Currently is not looking forward to any more sushi.

My daily routine lately is read psycho, do chem past year, read PS I love you, sleep, eat. Plus some house chores and tv time..Fast Fast finish exam pls >< I have enough of studying ><

Aunty Wai Cheng made potatoes curry which was superb as well!

At the end of the day, Mummy say I am going to get fat

But then, it is worth getting fat for these good food!

One Utama!

Yesterday went to 1-U with my parents. Dad have a job there so Mum and I went along to shop! Skipped lunch  because Mum and I wanted to wait for Sakae Sushi's teatime promotion-Red plate buy 1 free 1. Ehehe~ Too bad Dad couldn't join us as he went to Kepong and KL to do some other things. However, I find that Sakae Sushi at Pyramid taste better than the one in 1-U. The salmon does not look as fresh either. Mum and I was at 1-U from 1pm to 7pm. So tiring after long shopping session.Dad then bring us to Kota Damansara for dinner. Went to Sunway Giza for the first time as Dad is meeting up Uncle Thomas in a bar name Movida. Nice place with not-so-loud music and nice lights. Was there for 45 minutes even though Dad say a while only. hahaha.. After that, went to a nearby hawker stall to have dinner at about 9pm. Had chicken wings~ YUMMY~ Great day out without studying >< hahaha..

Was dead tired when I reach home but fail to sleep. Feeling tired and wants to sleep but cannot! Worst feeling ever. ><
