Cheese party

FST class students always come in 5-10 minutes late. 

While some of us were in the class waiting 15 minutes before class

So one fine day Prof Gary came in with a plastic bag in his hand

While chatting with us he casually pull a table to the middle

and place 3 paper plates on the table

So we were observing and trying to make sense of what he is trying to do..

and then he takes out a piece of cheese.

And then I saw the blue veins. Oh no, the blue cheese!

Yea so he open up and gauge for our reaction. 

Then he came over and let me have a sniff

Ohhmyyyy

First whiff and it smells milky, cheesie and after a few moments, the awful stench.. ewwwwww. 

and the smell floods the classroom. 

Then he puts out Brie and Emmanuel (Swiss) 

and we went to the front, sniffing the cheeses and snapped pictures while Prof Gary tells us about the cheese.

Then, another two Australian students came in and stop in sudden as they sniff the air and then stare at the table! GASP! CHEESE! 

and then slowly, the smell was not as strong anymore as the classroom was well-ventilated.

Yea, so after the rest of the class fill in the room and notice the presence of cheese on the table, we are all excited! 

Prof Gary said we did mentioned that we never really tried this cheese before so he brought it to class, along with the crackers for us to have a taste.

My personal evaluation:

Blue cheese is smelly but the best among all. Very rich and creamy. When eaten with cracker, there is no foul taste. 

Brie is soft and creamy texture yet not as strong as blue cheese. Nice too.

Emmanuel is the hard cheese and in comparison, the taste is very mild. Not my type of cheese.

Prof Gary: Come on, have more. You can come to the front and take more if you like when I'm lecturing. 

Us: HAHAHA.

Prof Gary: No, I'm serious, come on. 

hahahhahaa

He is one awesome lecturer!

Oh today in lab:

YH, WX, Von and me: Von telling WX and YH to do catalase test for Listeria

then we were laughing at something

Prof Gary: You know what, I should have separated the four of you. You all are so... You all go heeeheeehahhahhaaaa all the time. Like chickens.

Us: HAHAHAHHA! and we got the mother chicken: *points to WX*

hahahahha

Von, Ray and I attended the PARTY by MUSA

yet it was disappointing.

Spend most time queue-ing for registration

and being cut q by the others.

*ahem ahem*

Food was scarce. No more pizza, grabbed a pita and the q for burgerlab was too crazily long. 

So we left feeling disappointed and hungry and tired.

and it was raining!

:( 

Luckily the presence of them made everything bearable.

The people around me can make anything better.
